Again they were able to make 45 Open dogs with moving Field Champions down,
Quincy (Burnt Sienna Midsummer Dream SC) placed 2nd in Open Stake A for 3 points!
Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) placed 3rd in Open Stake A for 2 LCX points
GiGi (FC Appaws ImagiNation Of Shannon Down SC, FCh, CR, OTRM) won Open Stake B for 5 LCX points!
Anna (Shannon Down In Your Eyes SC, FCh) placed 2nd in Open Stake B for 3 points to finish her AKC Field Championship!!!!
Blaine (Shannon Down Mind Control JC, CGC) won Open Stake C for a 5 point major, only his 3rd trial and has 8 points and a major!
Tigger (FC Windyglen Tiggers Have Springs SC, WRCh, ORC) won the Field Champion Stake for 2 LCX points!
GiGi went on to take Best of Breed!!!!
May 3, 2008 - AKC Lure Coursing in Ohio
This AKC trial was huge - with moving some Field Champions down into Open, they made 3 Open stakes (45 dogs - 15 each stake)!!!
Cuda (FC Windyglen I'm Outta Here SC, FCh, CRX, OTRM-2) placed 4th in Open Stake A
Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) placed 5th in Open Stake A
Anna (Shannon Down In Your Eyes SC, FCh) placed 4th in Open Stake B
GiGi (FC Appaws ImagiNation of Shannon Down SC, FCh, CR, OTRM) placed 2nd in Open Stake C for 3 LCX points
Tigger (FC Wingdyglen Tiggers Have Springs SC, WRCh, ORC) placed 3rd in the Field Champion Stake
Viva (FC Appaws Vivid ImagiNation SC, CRX, OTRM) placed 5th in the Field Champion Stake

Ripley (Chesara Jaytea Ptarmigan SC, FCh, CR, ARX) places 3rd in the Field Champion stake.
Trick (Shannon Down Pick A Card JC) places 4th in his Open Stake.
April 26, 2008 - ASFA Lure Coursing in Williamsburg, VA
Derby (FC Chesara Jaytea Curlew SC, CGC) wins his Open Stake again for his second 1st placement towards his ASFA FCh!
Trick (Shannon Down Pick A Card JC) placed NBQ in his Open Stake.
Ripley (Chesara Jaytea Ptarmigan SC, FCh, CR, ARX) placed 2nd in the Field Champion stake.

April 13, 2008 - AKC Lure Coursing in Flemington, NJ
Derby (Chesara Jaytea Curlew SC, CGC) won his huge Open Stake of 18 for a 5 point major to finish his AKC Field Championship!!! Congratulations to his breeder/owner Joanne Ronning on her new AKC Field Champion. We are so proud of the Brooks x Kira litter, and that makes two major titles for that litter (an ARX and a FC) not to mention all the other titles for coursing, racing and obedience!

At the Hound Specialty Show, Anna (Shannon Down In Your Eyes SC, FCh) won her huge Open Bitch class and was Reserve Winners Bitch to the major!
Choo Choo (Willowood Chattanooga Choo Choo JC, CR) placed 2nd in his big Open Dog class.
At the AKC Lure Coursing trial.... (Rupert was moved down to Open to help split stakes)
In Open Stake A, Anna (Shannon Down In Your Eyes SC, FCh) placed 4th
In Open Stake B, Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) placed 2nd for 3 points towards his LCX!

Cuda and Bosley were both moved down to the Open stake to split the stakes and they held their own!

Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) goes to his first UKC show and wins Best Male, Best of Winners and then Best of Breed over a Champion and Grand Champion and then on to a Sighthound Group 1 for his first 35 points towards his UKC Championship!

After 2 days of being SO close - Tigger (Windyglen Tiggers Have Springs SC, WRCh, ORC) finished his FC!!! He won his Open Stake of 15 for a 5 point major!
Blaine (Shannon Down Mind Control JC, CGC) just finished his JC yesterday and today was his first time running - and he placed 2nd in his Open Stake of 15 for his first 3 points!!!
Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) ran as the only Field Champion

Rupert (DC SDW Lifelong About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM) placed 2nd in his Field Champion Stake of 4
