	Shannon Down Scarlet Blaze JC July 15, 2002 ~ February 21, 2017 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons We let Scarlet go shortly after loosing Rupert, her appetite had been diminished and her weight had been going down hill, we did not want to let her get to the point where she wasn't enjoying life anymore. Scarlet's favorite thing was to lounge in front of the fireplace in the winter. Her presence remains here at Shannon Down through her granddaughter Margaery. Click here for Scarlet's page.
	DC SDW Lifelong's About Face! MC, FCh, CRX, OTRM-4 October 4, 2004 ~ January 6, 2017 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons We let him go to the Rainbow Bridge on January 6, 2017 after he had thrown a blood clot in his leg, paralyzing the leg. He spent his last few days being loved on and catered to, but his foot started to deteriorate with no blood supply and we let him go peacefully on a Friday morning. Click here for Rupert's page.
	Shannon Down Above The Rest OTR September 28, 2013 ~ June 11, 2016 Owned & loved by Donna Murphy Syrio was a wonderful boy and had such fun racing. Sadly, he passed away before he turned 3 years old. Donna was out of town and the pet sitter called to tell her he had passed away. He had probably been bitten by a snake. 	FC CuRas A Clockwork Orange SC, FCh, SR, CRX-3, ORC October 14, 1999 ~ July 27, 2015 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons & Kiesha Crawmer Murphy was a wonderful dog who really made us fall in love with racing and race bred Whippets. He was our 'old man' in the Shannon Down household and never had a sick day in his life that we can remember. He was still in great physical shape when we let him go but his mind was failing him, we made the hard decision to let him pass before his mind was to far gone. 	Shannon Down Blaze O' Glory July 15, 2002 ~ November 15, 2014 Owned & loved by Travis & Pam Dunn Glory was a beloved companion in the Dunn family and helped raise the two Vizsla's they currently have. Sadly she passed away on November 15, 2014 after a stroke. Click here for Glory's page.
	MBIF FC Shannon Down Toirneach MC, FCh, CRX-2, OTRM-2 November 5, 2001 ~ October 22, 2014 Owned & loved by Mike & Sue Fitzgerald Torin lived here for a few years before he moved to his forever home with the Fitzgeralds. He continued to run even as a Veteran and was the biggest sweetheart. Sadly he passed away on October 22, 2014 after complications with a tumor. Click here for Torin's page.
	Shannon Down Mind Control SC, FCh, CR, OTRM, CGC, RE, NAJ November 5, 2006 ~ September 2014 Owned & loved by Lisa Kyzer and her family Sadly Blaine was taken to soon when a gate was left open and he got out, he was struck by a vehicle and he left this world. 	Ch. SDW Diamondntheruff V Hasue SC, FCh, CR November 22, 1999 ~ April 7, 2014 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons We let Sweet Pea go after her mobility rapidly declined. She was always so full of life and was and always will be the Queen of Shannon Down. We are very happy to share our home with her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. 	Shannon Down Blazing Star JC, CGC, TDI, TT, RE, ThD July 15, 2002 ~ June 1, 2013 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons Star was a one of a kind dog, no one loved her more than her owner Janet and it was a devastating loss. 	Annadar's Look No Further V SDW JC, CA March 22, 2009 ~ December 31, 2012 Owned & loved by David Duncan & Renee Nunez Tatsu developed Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy, most likely due to a previous virus that attacked his heard and was in Congestive Heart Failure as a result. He was laid to rest on December 31, 2012 and though he was lost far to soon, we can at least know that he is again with his brother Shinju at the bridge. 	U-Ch. SDW Annadar Kiss Of Fire SC, FCh, PR August 18, 2005 ~ November 19, 2012 Owned & loved by Glenda Konopka, Shannon & Krystyl Lyons Leo became septic after sustaining some wounds to his back legs and was sadly lost on November 19, 2012. He is gone to soon from this world but he joins several other wonderful Shannon Down Whippets that were also taken from us this year. 	BIF Annadar's Don't Look Now V SDW SC March 22, 2009 ~ November 6, 2012 Owned & loved by David Duncan & Renee Nunuz Shinju also was taken to soon when he got out the door and was struck by a car. He did not know it yet, but he would soon be joined by his brother Tatsu - we know they are together again and running fast and free over the bridge. 	FC Shannon Down The Entertainer SC, CR, OTRM-2 August 26, 2008 ~ October 29, 2012 Owned & loved by Jenna Seal Liam was struck by a car and passed away on October 29, 2012. He spent the first part of his life here at Shannon Down before he went to live with Jenna and he touched so many hearts before he left this world. He is very much missed by his incredible owner Jenna and the whole Shannon Down family, he was such a beautiful little soul. Click here for Liam's page.
	SBOS Ch. Shannon Down Blazing Saddles SC, CRX-3, OTRM-3 July 15, 2002 ~ July 30, 2012 Owned & loved by Shannon & Krystyl Lyons Brooks was an amazing dog in the show ring, on the track and especially at home. He is the first dog that Krystyl finished a Championship on all by herself, he helped her win Best Junior Handler at one of our National Specialties and he loved to race. At home he was a sweetheart, he loved to chase frisbees and balls and would keep bringing them back even when he was so tired he could only trot after them. He made it to his 10th birthday and then started to get sick. We believe, after running tests, that he had liver cancer and it had already progressed to far to treat. We let him go on July 30th, 2012, a day that will always be sad in our memories. Chase those frisbees Brooks, and we hope you are running on sandy race tracks again. Click here for Brooks page.
	BIF Shannon Down Talkn To The Moon MC, FCh, CRX, OTR August 23, 2000 ~ February 11, 2012 Owned & loved by Anita Gersch Daisy was our first black and white Whippet, and when Kevin moved in with Anita he obviously needed another Whippet companion so we let Daisy go to stay with him and Anita. Daisy was the most devoted mother and just an incredibly behaved girl, having never done a single thing wrong since we got her at 10 weeks old. Sadly it was discovered that Daisy had a hemangiosarcoma on her heart when it ruptured. We got to spend a few days with Daisy ourselves and then she spent her last day being pampered and loved on by Anita and was euthanized comfortably in her home. She will be greatly missed by many people, and she has left a hole in all our hearts. Click here for Daisy's page.
	BIF Ch. Kismet's Midnight Rambler MC, LCM, CRX, OTR October 6, 1999 ~ October 31, 2011 Owned & loved by Anita Gersch Kevin was bred by Kiesha Cramwer & loved very much by us, after he finished competing in the show ring, on the coursing field and at the races, he retired to his wonderful home with Anita. He was euthanized on Halloween when he took a turn for the worse, due to kidney failure. Anita gave him a wonderful life and we couldn't have asked for any more than that. He was pampered and loved more than any dog could be. We will always remember him and how he introduced us into the world of Whippets. Click here for Kevin's page.

	SDW Kismet Skip A Beat August 25, 2010 ~ May 13, 2011 Owned & loved by Iva English, Shannon & Krystyl Lyons Euthanized after a battle with kidney failure, most likely due to an e-coli infection. Thank you to Iva for taking care of Wave and giving her the best few months she could possibly have and keeping her happy and as healthy as she could be until she was no longer meant to be on this earth. 	Shannon Down O'Tadhgain November 4, 2001 ~ December 2010 Owned & loved by Natoshia Ratcliffe Euthanized due to recurrent stomach cancer/tumors. 	Shannon Down Shakin' The Tree August 14, 2004 ~ January 6, 2009 Owned & loved by Janis & Art Castle Heidi tragically passed away after she was hit by a car. 	Shannon Down Cliodhna SC, FCh November 4, 2001 ~ December 17, 2008 Owned & loved by Jason Cohen & Paula Bohaboy Cliona passed away from kidney failure due to lyme disease.
